This Friday October 25th at University is Football Friday! Wear your favorite team Jersey! Yearbook retakes are also this day, so if your child needs to take a picture you can send a uniform shirt with them to change into.

University reminder- Yearbook pictures today! Wear school uniforms

Yesterday our very own D’Niylah Thompson was recognized as the Student Leader of the Month during the Caddo Parish School Board meeting. She is a fifth grade student from University Elementary. She has been on the AB honor roll EVERY nine weeks since the second grade! Last year, D’Niylah had straight As! She is a hard working and dedicated student who is looking forward to middle school. She is great at sketching and loves to draw in her free time. She plans to attend Southern University after graduation and become a nurse. In addition, D'Niylah was joined by two additional students , Valentina Brock & Matthew Kong, to say the pledge of Allegiance before the meeting began.

University Yearbook pictures is Friday September 19th. Your child will receive a QR code that can be scanned to view their school pictures. This year all ordering will be online AND you can choose which pose will go into the yearbook!

University Lunch with a parent starts TODAY! Sign in as a Visitor in the office, Any outside food from restaurants that is brought into the school must be removed from containers/wrappers with logos before entering. You may only eat with your child at their scheduled lunch time. See image for Lunch times. PreK will not start yet.
